Roy Kitchen lives in beautiful Northwest Arkansas, where he shares a life with his wife and their loyal German Shepherd. They love hiking, biking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. A proud alumnus of the University of Arkansas, Roy holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, which laid the foundation for his career as an Executive Director at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Roy’s love of gardening, painting, and hiking stems from the joy he gets from being in the great outdoors. These activities give him a creative outlet and a deep connection to nature. Despite his many interests and responsibilities, the moments Roy cherishes most are those spent with his wife, family, and friends, creating lasting memories and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.

His book, “In Search of a Lady,” reflects his observations of human relationships and his belief in the transformative power of love. Through the eyes of his protagonist, Richard Harris, Roy explores the complexities of love, commitment, and personal growth, drawing from his life experiences and the wisdom he has gained along his journey.
